  • If a company sponsors me for a H-1B, and the application gets a YES, when I will be able to work in the US? Right away or I'll have to wait until October 1st?

  • The H-1B cap has not yet been reached, so you could work right away, particularly if you use the government's premium processig service (response in 15 days or less). So you would not have to wait until October 1st, at least at this time. I'd suggest you call our office if you need help with the visa (310)384-0200 or if you have questions you can schedule an appointment. Best, The Professor.

  • so i obviously need a passport and apply for a H-2B visa then acquire a job i have a high school certificate my drivers licence and about 4 years experience in the field of work i do and also how long do the visa's last like is it 6 months 1 year ?

  • Sorry I wasn't clearer. You will need the employer to apply for the H-2B visa. So first you need a job offer with an employer. That's the starting point. You can't get one on your own...
