I´m still wonderin that this movie is only available in original language.

But its an great masterpiece of japanese movies - the scenes u see, say more than words!

(Pearl Harbor wasn´t an sneak attack. The british navy (pacific!) gave an warning to the americans - they moved their carriers out of the harbor and only older ships were left there.

We germans did the same,we just told the public that polish soldiers attacked first.)

For all that Japan did throughout the war, it really is incredible the amount of pride they put into ships like the Yamato. I suppose, in the end, both sides were really fighting for their countries; in my opinion, that has to be respected.

Actually Myanmar is a name of Burma changed in 1989 by Military Junta but both names are still in use in some parts of the world so there is no mistake here.

There was no advance warning by the British. If there had been, Pearl Harbor would have been cleared of all vessels, and Hawaii would have been on full alert before the attack. Combat air patrols would have been aloft all daylight hours to meet any attack. England was already at war against Hitler. However, an attack by Japan on America did not require Hitler to declare war since the Axis treaties were defensive and mandated unity only if an Axis partner were attacked.
