Forgot to mention the fact that the story's concept had A LOT of potential for a saga like Metroid and for a character like Samus. I feel they just developed it in the wrong way; almost as if they had rushed it.

That was exactly my problem with it. I absolutely loved the gameplay, and the switching between controller positions was really no issue for me at all. I loved the beautiful graphics and great cutscenes. I loved the different overall feel of the game. But the almost-blasphemous voice acting was absolutely very disappointing; even more so than the rather poor writing. Still, I thoroughly enjoyed this game and I still play it every now and then, just for the fun of the gameplay.

  • A pretty good review, but you neglected to mention that the writing and voice acting in this game is absolutely atrocious. It definitely takes away from the story.

  • @MrMetroid1998 Honestly, I doubt that. But then again, that's exactly what happened to Majora's Mask, so you never know.

  • @finnishzeldaman No, that's not true or logical. Just because it lacks certain elements that Metroid is known for doesn't make it a bad game. There is plenty of reason to buy it. It's a good game, is often very fun to play, and can be purchased for cheap. Those are good reasons.

I bet you never actually played the other Metroid games and are only making stupid comments from info you scrounged off the internet. Either that or you failed in every one you played. Samus has always been portrayed as a strong and especially independent character. Now I'm not saying that she's a stoic ice queen, as her reaction to Gandrayda's death in Prime 3 showed, but that she's not this.... THING.

  • man this game is so awesome and those people who say its bad then i wouldn't want to know what you think is good but really just awesome game

    samus: screw laters

  • @TransportedFilms

    MrMetroid1998 seems to think so.

  • @supertrogdorman5252 I doubt it. Where did you hear that? It'll appear on the wii U or 3DS sometime, soon hopefully.
