Henrik Hjortshøj, Pipe Major at The Borderland Pipe Band Aabenraa, Denmark, is playing the Beatles song "With a little help" from my friends at the Beatles festival at Sønderborghus, 6th of March 2010.
To all pipers,- this is the first time I play a 440hz setup. It took me a whole week to find a fair way to setup my pipes. The drone reeds are MG reeds with 440 adaptors on the tenors,- and an old Ross Cane bass drone reed on the bass.
The chanter is an old Paki chanter, that I had for some reason. I did the job ok,- but as you can hear, it didn't like my g gracenotes on the low a...... started to screem........
I still hope you like it,- I worked hard for this one........

  • Sorry, no. I made it up over a day or two without notation. I am not good at writing tunes down, so you will have to look and learn. Hope you are ok with that.

  • I just came across my own video here on youtube.... and it's been some time since I heard it my self..... you know what? It's not so bad at all...... funny

  • I hope it will workout for you. Thank you for liking my play.......
