  • I believe that the 'sixteen ounce hammer' comment is completely unnecessary, sounds a bit emotional to me. Have it fixed to your liking, trade it or sell it, just leave the negative emotion out.

  • @mds19238 If you mean "mad", "angry", or "annoyed" when you say emotional, then yes you are correct. I guess I'm just an asshole for thinking this gun should break down easier than it does and I shouldn't have to use a hammer to take it down. the gun is a joy to shoot but a bitch to break down. why would I sell it if i like the gun? Also, this is a review. this is OUR opinion on these guns and we will tell people what we think of them. if you don't like it, don't watch.

  • Oh yeah, and I just get an eyeglass repair kit from the drug store to deal with those little screws.

  • @AmericanMade72 That's what I ended up having to do. It's more of an inconvience when other weapons with target sights, such as the beretta 92/96 targets, come with a multi-tool. Thanks for the comment and watching our video!

  • Aside from the grip being a 1911 style grip, what is the advantage of a 22-45 over the Mark III, II or I? I see a lot of people favoring the 22-45 and I don't know why everyone is running from the Mark series.

  • @AmericanMade72 Honestly, We have no idea if there is an advantage to the 22-45. I just like the feel of it better because it feels more like my 1911. Our neighbor has a MarkII and it is very comfortable to shoot and a very reliable weapon. Nothing against the mark III. I actually like that it is all metal rather than the 22-45 lower being polymer. Maybe one day I will pick one up so we can compare then properly. Thanks for the comment-Ryan

  • i wish they had a stainless wood grip version. Looking at rugers site looks like stainless bull isnt offered anymore? Hope not maybe its a temp thing

  • @AmericanMade72

Technically there is not really an "advantage" between the two, The 22-45 has a slightly different angle to their handles n thicker grips (i love the thicker grip). 22-45 has a self lubricating polymer frame, good but breakable if droped. 22-45 has a slide release that sticks out further which i love over the Mark3. But over all, its a preference thing more then anything, I ended up getting 22-45 over the mark3 just because of cost vs features.

    Hope this helps ;)

  • @CandRreviews thanx for the reply. That answers my question, I prefer the metal over the polymer.
