@JimHawkwind03411 Yeah, me too. I started watching Good Times reruns on WPIX when I was a tottler and this particular logo appeared when the show went off. It has a nice, pleasant, electric keyboard synth tone. The melody is also nice. That logo really takes me back.

@vfreeck Well, if the Cokeburst really existed...

@ryda91 Sounds more like that Pitfall game for the 2600.

P*I*T*S FILMS logo is what made Good Times actually Good Times and without it there is no Good Times especially since they still air Good Times on TV One without even showing this logo.

That's one I'd like to see as well (TAT). I saw it on the same station about a year after that and like you, never saw it again.

Years ago, I belonged to the Closing Logo Group on Yahoo and this was a much sought after logo. I remember taping GT on TBS, which at the time was rerunning the show at 4am! Caught it when they reran JJ's art school in their apt episode. it was a happy day for logo lovers.

This is from the final episode of "Good Times": "The End of the Rainbow".

1976-1982
This was seen on original syndicated versions of "Sanford and Son" and "Maude". P*I*T*S meant "Pie in the Sky."
Norman Lear sure loved those synthesizers. You want to talk rare logos, there was a TAT Communications logo that I saw once on The Jeffersons on WGN in 1994 and haven't seen since. The original syndication prints would usually bear no logo until the Embassy-era episodes.
