This has only been tested and found working on certain emulated versions.

This time round a useless Bad Egg gives me what seems to be infinite glitch hold items. Although they can't be sold, Pokemon can hold on to them. As for what they do... I don't know. They certainly don't heal I know that much...

Man, they don't lie when they say "BAD egg". Bad Eggs are just plain evil. I somehow received a Bad Egg when i tired entering a code into my action replay, it deleting my fuckin Heatran AND Jiriachi. DAMN! I hate Bad Eggs.

Bad eggs were Installed to the game by the developers to solve problems with cheaters it comes up when you cheat! If you continue to cheat then will every pokemon in your team be a bad egg! theres a familar egg named Good egg, you randomly get it when having two pokemon at the breeding site (HOWEVER) you get it with a chance of 1:400 thats a chance of 0.0025 The Pokemon inside will have POKéRUS If you use breed cheats than youll have a chance of 1:5 to get a bad egg that freezes your game

@Masterofxtreme93 bad eggs are programed into the game to discourage the usage of cheats so i sugest don't use cheats

I remember that pretty much happening.

When I was around 3, I was playing my big bro's Pokemon Blue on the Gameboy Color, and I accedently drop it, and WHAM! Game froze. No good reason.

Instead of removing it, now Nintendo just puts the Bad Egg to Trolololololol your D/P/Pt/HG/SS.

After that, I got freaked out and didn't play that game for a week. Then, I got Yellow, I tried the Mew trick a second time after catching Mew, and instead of a Pokemon, a Missingno. appeared, and the same thing happened.
