On December 28, 2009, Santa Rosa, CA's Memorial Hospital filed objections to the December 17th and 18th election during which employees voted to unionize with National Union of Healthcare Workers. Among other things, the document alleged that "NUHW and its agents and/or third parties engaged in surveillance and interrogation of employees," including "videotaping employees attempting to attend employer-sponsored meetings, and videotaping employees attending such meeting, thereby creating a general atmosphere of confusion and fear of reprisal among voting employees." While the document did not identify the specific video(s), I am aware of only two videos recorded near a management sponsored meeting. This was the first one recorded.
