The following is an outtake from Joe Berlinger's movie Crude. On March 4, 2007, plaintiffs' lead U.S. lawyer Steven Donziger holds a lunch meeting with plaintiffs' U.S. consultants Charles Champ, Ann Maest and Richard Kamp. Kamp and Donziger discuss having the "perito" (meaning the "expert," and in this case specifically, Cabrera) at the March 3, 2007, meeting. Kamp remarks: "Having the perito there yesterday in retrospect ... that was bizarre." Donziger then tells Kamp, "Don't talk about it." He then looks at the cameraman and says, "That was off the record." View more outtakes at YouTube.com/TexacoEcuador. For more information about the Ecuador lawsuit, visit Chevron.com/Ecuador.
