I test drove one of these a few weeks ago, same year, same colour, but a hard top saloon. Lots of fun, but a bit slow. I've just put down a deposit on a 1967 saloon, which has much more power.

@Beyondthewaterfall What a great present to give to someone, very cool, lucky dad!...I wish I had one and think one day I will....has it been costly to maintain?

That was brilliant, thanks for that. Dad bought me a 4 door '56 Minor when I was 17 (Jesus..... 19 years ago!!) I brought it with me when I moved to Portugal. After being stolen, crashed a rolled she's being restored an converted to LHD. Your amusing video is an inspiration and reminds me why I moved here.... rain in June.... no thanks. Happy motoring Sir.

Thankyou for your comment! We bought the Morris for my dad who's in his 70's now, as he had the exact same car when he met my mum when they were courting..it was some surprise for him and one well worth it... just to to see his face and he has had great joy with it ever since... even in this scottish weather ..ha ha
