Life is a gift God gave to us out of his own free will we need to cherish it. When you contemplate suicide you think my only way out is to die but it's not it seems like the end but it's the beginning.

We need Good Samaritans to be there and help out when the heart hurts so bad it seems the only answer is death.... end the moment of pain. If we can stop this and give time to think, regroup, help, love....... 20 minutes. That's all we need to sooth that pain and being to work on solutions.

@robertgift We also have the freedom to choose a partner no matter the sex...I may not agree and I might even hate your lifestyle based on my religious beliefs but that's not your business...I say live and let live.

@robertgift I think it is the responsibility of the parents to teach these kids at an early the facts of life in a way they see fit...The world is sometimes unfair, but luckily we live in a free country where we are free to believe and worship what we desire...Be it santa clause, the easter bunny or the tooth fairy...a material possesion, another human being, or some religous god........

Correct, we do not knowhy. Perhaps others know. I have seen a suicide note.

Homosexuals did not chose their gender orientation any more than I chose mine. But "Christianity" and other myths teach that it is an abomination.

You can still believe myths in N Korea. Just no outward formal practice.

As a scientist, I believe we are surrounded by evidence that God exists. But any more than that is unprovable man-made myth.

@robertgift that said, suicides are unfortunate and I am not trying to downplay them...however, you can't blame religion because that person who committed suicide is no longer alive to explain the true reasons for ending his/her life.

@robertgift i was unaware christianity encouraged suicide...maybe you could elaborate on that..."Especially sad since all religions are man-made myth..." this is your opinion unfortunately...there is no proof that there is a God nor is there proof that there isn't...i suppose if i were against freedom of religion, i could move to a more communist country like north korea.
