There is no Credence Clearwater Revival without John Fogerty, and there is no GFR without Mark Farner. These clowns should be ashamed duping the public like they are. To be honest men they should change their name (like Grand Funk Railroad Revisited) like Creedence did. These guys are no less than deceiving punks. Don't get me wrong...I'm a huge GFR fan as I have seen the original band 4 times including their reunion tour of '98.

Yes, and no Deep Purple without Gillan and no Black Sabbath without Ozzy Osbourne. I don`t like THIS GFR and I don`t like THIS Mark Farner without the rest of the band. Only together it was the GFR, which a lot of people loved. Sorry for my bad english!?! I loved GFR but now I think they are all nothing but clownes or clones of themselfes. Let us accept, the time has gone and will never come back. Enjoy the music they made together and that`s it. No mor will come. Greetings from Germany.

If not, I would suggest that you shut up, open your mind, and enjoy an unbelievable group of musicians playing some great rock and roll; and sounding better than ever! GFR STILL ROCKS!!!!!

NO, I`ve never seen this line-up and I don`t want to see it. When my 15 year old son plays "Footstumpin music" I would never say: You are GFR. WOW! Ande he is good. A Porsche is only a Porsche when a Porsche-Motor is in. All other is a copy, you understand. Only when original parts are used you can have an original. Sorry again fot my bad english-)))

@frizzlefrap The originals were Mark Farner, Don Brewer Playing drums (In the band now) and Mel Schacher <(I think that's how to spell the bass players name). I can't tell if that's him in there now or not. Don is for sure.

@BBQFanNo1 I don't have a problem with impersonators, They mostly are doing a tribute to performers they loved. To me if someone did a tribute to me like that, I'd be honored, that would flatter the hell out of me!! Karaoke isn't really a bad thing, it's meant to have fun with. The beauty of the whole thing is that you don't have to be a good singer to enjoy it. Personally, I don't mean to boast, but I do fairly well. As long as they don't do (C)RAP, I'm fine.

@thegrandoz That is a good point, even with double the manpower they can't make it happen.So they replace Mark with another vaguely Native guy with straight hair? The songs should follow the writer not the band, JMO.

Three Dog Night is not Three Dog Night without the late Joe Schermie at Bass and Chuck Negron lead vocals.

Chicago is not Chicago without the late Terry Kath,Peter Cetera on Bass(Sorry Jason Scheff but you are not as good as your father Jerry Scheff either),and Danny Seraphine on Drums/Percussion.

I just seen these guys yesterday 08/07/10 and they were pretty darn good ! and the crowd had a great time , even without Mark.

@sunking2001 .... they sound pretty darn good to me ..... the music sounds a thousand times better then the band that is playing with solo mark farner now (pitiful) .... so .... who in this set-up is not original? i know who mark farner is, but never really followed who was in it originally or who exactly sang all the old stuff ... clue me in if you would ... tks!
