Constructed of strong styrene plastic, my Enterprise Bridge is about four feet in diameter and was designed to be used with the Mego Star Trek figures from the 1970s.

Check-out my other two newly posted videos of the nearly completed Bridge!

Your comments and (or) suggestions are always welcome.

Lots more lighting effects to do!

Enjoy!

  • Great detail. Where are the Turbo-lift doors?

  • @stads24 In this first video they are obscured by shadow. But if you check-out my other two later videos of the Bridge, the Turbo-Lift doors are clearly visible.

  • that is cool, but, why? Did that cost alot to build(electronics etc.)? Was the family hip to this? If you're gonna this, then build a full sized shuttle from S.T. 5 or a Colonial Viper, an X-wing has been done, and its too big. St5 means Star Trek 5 . How about a shuttle from TNG. If you gonna do it, do it all the way. Nothing from IX. It sucked ass. There will ever only be one Kirk, Spock etc. It was so bad I had to go twice, because I totally forgot what it was about. Why ? No substance.

  • It was originally designed to be a Christmas display for my children. It can be easily disassembled into sections for storage. I am a big fan of Star Trek the original series...not so much TNG or the other spinoffs.

The large amount of styrene plastics and electronics did get a bit expensive, but it was really the many hours spent building it that was the most difficult thing.

Yes, the family is very "hip" to it. :-)

  • This is excellent but you need more light in tihs video. It is hard to see the details but the attention to detail is impressive.

  • Please check-out my other two videos. They are fully lit and include the Mego bridge crew figures.

  • I'm not into action figures of any size or era, but this is VERY COOL! The dedication really shows.

Pat yourself on the back, man, this is excellent work!

  • @78starbuck

I agree with you...Star Trek IX (Insurrection) DID "suck ass". Star Trek XI, however, was really very good.

  • Nice!!!!

  • Outstanding.

  • As a ten year old boy in 1975, I woulda bludgeoned my mother to death with a claw hammer to have played with this!!!

  • Wow, great job! I approve. :)

  • Awe, beam me up Scotty... Never before in my life have wanted to be shorter but right now "mego scaled" really appeals to me.

  • kewl
