Turns out I could set the video output to widescreen and progressive widescreen. Giving progressive a try here.

  • Yep, none of the interlacing that normally accompanies the vids. Is this done via component? You may be able to up the resolution on the PS3.

  • @Adrammalech7570 If by component you mean those red, white and yellow wires, then yes.

  • @GeneralSecura Red, White, and Yellow would be composite, at least in America. I'm not sure how Europeans do it though.

  • @Adrammalech7570 Which colors would a component cable be?

  • @GeneralSecura Red, Blue and Green,

  • @Adrammalech7570 OK, then I'm using composite.

Also, what do you mean by 'interlacing'?

  • @GeneralSecura Interlacing shows up as scanlines. When you watch some of your InFamous 2 vids, for example, scanlines are quite obvious when you move around. Progressive scan removes scan lines.

  • This setting looks pretty good to me. :)

  • Looks ok to me.
