@freewheeler2909 But then again, that was a very long time, many wars and unshared experiences ago. It's not about blood anymore, It's about the sense of community. If there is no such feeling present that we are headed towards a common goal we will become egotistical and uncaring, our society will become rather cold. In such an unpleasant enviroment the new generations will have no idea what it's like to belong to anything greater than a football team, there will be no sense of mutual trust.

@U48 Wow, that's really a stupid statement. It's damn near impossible to buy an island, and immigration is an important topic. It's good in reasonable ammounts but when it comes to the point that the country subjected to it actually begins to loose it's identity and culture and most importantly proves unable to take care of the new visitors that can lead to anger among the new arrivals as well as the natives. What is really sad is the ammount of thumbs up you have managed to get.
