@NHRHS2010 there are no civil service tests for cops in new jersey everyone is somebodys relative I know a friend from new jersey who is a cop in new york state he said he wouldnt want to be a cop in new jersey

@spacepatrolman If it involves someone from Paterson then I am not surprised. Also, GSP happens to be a mess sometimes. The cop(s) who tortured a resident and did a lot of other illegal activities should get his police powers revoked if he is going to act like that.

@spacepatrolman a guy murdered his girlfriend in a parking lot on rt. 17 there is a lot of auto theft in parking lots and residences that the police do nothing about and residential burglarys that the police do nothing about

@NHRHS2010 Its not that safe because the police tortured a resident who complained about a gang with relatives of cops in it that were harassing him, a kidnap victim was murdered in the parking lot of the GSP , a license plate was obtained in a robbery of the BCC parking lot the police said you cant do anything they are from paterson[ the poice can get a warrant and go there] a cop was involved in a hit and run accident when a man was injured

@spacepatrolman okay, but it was curious when you mentioned that because Paramus looks like a safe place. Yes, something could happen there but I never knew that there could be so many police activity there. If it was a place like Bronx or Newark, I won't be surprised. But Paramus looks like it's in a safe area.

@NHRHS2010 there never was any newspaper article about it [ there was some mention of it in a forum on the internet of the paramus post called topix ] a private investigtor found out about it ,the murder cases mentioned below someone who worked in the area knew about the carpet store murder and someone who got mixed up with loan sharks heard about the other murder .
