This is a wonderful visit inside the International Space Station. Astronaut Garrett Reisman, Expedition 17 flight engineer, films parts of his day May 7th 2008. Ride along as Reisman narrates the sights and sounds of a "typical" day at 17,500 mph 225 miles above the Earth. Our thanks to Garrett for the video, nicely done, and to NASA for making it all possible.

This series of seven clips is unbelievably great. It brings the whole thing alive so much better than any of the slick "official" sources. I can't thank you enough. Will pass it along to all my friends. Cheers and best wishes.

I so want to be an astronaut. Just got to finish high school and get a doctoral degree in mechanical/electrical engineering and a PhD.
Does anyone know if there is a way to speak to past astronauts or current ones?
