The quality seems to be okay, id play it like this, idk all the fancy thigs you seem to be talking about...but i felt it was okay :)

As for that video, I think you're right, I can't see any major smoothness issues running at 30fps, but it's hard to judge when everything is so dark >.>

@codingmasters I am planning on doing another recording in the daytime, maybe at a lower resolution, I don't know yet.

I suggest recording your voice independently of Fraps. Audacity is an excellent tool for doing that. Just make sure to sync up the recordings by doing some sort of "mark" on both recordings.
If you do end up doing a Let's Play, it might be worth setting up a server and connecting to that (even if the server's running on the same computer) instead of just doing a single-player thingy (I like the word thingy). That'll make it easier for people to join you later if you want to do that.

@codingmasters Won't having Audacity open in the background increase the overhead, affecting performance?
And I plan on running a server to host the LP, this was in single player just for testing purposes
