A lot was said against interracial marriage. What are you saying now?
The arguments against gay marriage aren't new. In fact, many of them were once made against interracial marriage, too.
Please help us spread that message, to keep intolerance out of our state constitution. Send this video link to every email list and address you know of, because millions of Americans are being told that they do not have the right to marry the person they love.

America has overcome discrimination before. Let's do it again. Tell everyone you know that banning gay marriage isn't American and isn't right. Show them this video, and tell them to vote no.
Thank you!
The late Coretta Scott King believed her husband Martin Luther King Jr would support gay rights and she herself was a supporter of gay rights up until her death. Even one of MLK's most trusted advisers, Bayard Rustin was a gay man who fought for black rights, helped MLK Jr on the Mongomery Bus Boycott and organized the march on Washington, D.C. in '63 for jobs and freedom (where MLK Jr gave his "I have a Dream" speech).

@BlakeBarbieDoll
Would you say Martin Luther King Jr., by employing his tactics with non-violence, piggy backed Gandhi's campaign in India against the Brits ? Certainly, the right of Indians to liberty and the civil rights of blacks in the US are two very different issues. And I as a (gay) Indian get very annoyed that MLK piggy backed on our revolution and demeaned it.
Sounds familiar a $ $ wipe ?
GAY RIGHTS ARE CIVIL RIGHTS.

@winkingdaruma
the scary part is that it's not clear to the ignorant people out there.
They Truly see it as a man wanting to be with a goat, no different at ALL.
Shocking that humanity in the 21st century could be so idiotic.

@shadowstar2012 Sorry, I didn't watch the video all the way through. I guess you should look before you leap...

@Creationcreed, you added the word "morality" to your question about my standards of objectivity test. That's not what I was addressing. Rereading my statement you'll notice I'm simply concerned with legislation that is justified by objective evidence, not simple faith statements. That means when someone presents a LEGAL argument that attempts to deny a group from access to a public service, the onus is on that party to justify their argument w/objective, factual data.

@Creationcreed, in what way, specifically, do you think Christians' will be legally "forced" into censorship if gay marriage is sanctioned by the law? Please set up at least one clear, strong, specific hypothetical example. Thanks.

@CheezInspector What is a solid tool of objective morality? What standard are you using?

@CheezInspector What is a solid tool of objectivity?...You just don't see the consequences as bad in your view, but most Christians do. I believe Christians will be forced to stop speaking their mind about issues like homosexuality, because it will be viewed as hate, when its not. Government will later silence the Christian faith. I don't believe same sex marriage willl destroy the Biblical Definition: marriage will always be male/Female no matter what the Govnment legislates.
