CP 9654 with train 233 at Bedell ON

Third westbound within an hour. CP 233 passes through the former junction at Bedell with tonnage. Including one interesting covered hopper. Prairie Malt Limited PMLX 1017. I like their motto...."New York is big...but this is Biggar. Biggar Saskatchewan".

Once again, I exchange friendly waves with another engineer. :) I really enjoyed my time of relaxation this day. Took a little time away from home to railfan for an hour and got three freights.

@EasternOntarioTracks - Thanks. The weather hasn't co-operated lately. Going out to Sharbot Lake one day wasn't a good idea. Being busy over the holiday took me away from trains for a month. I'm slowly catching up on things. Being just 20 min away from the CP main helps. I can take a few hours to sit and watch the parade, then go home and back to chores. :)

Seems like in every video I've seen shot at Bedell, including the three that you just posted, the trains seem to be traveling at quite a bit less than track speed. Any idea why this is?
