  • Existence is merely a suggestion, a thought, an idea, a word so well defined, so clearly executed, so final that it is inescapable by its own definition.

  • There are some flaws within this presentation! Descartes did express why he felt that the existence of god is a necessary truth, that's what the ontological argument for god's existence is. Descartes also accepted analytic truths such as mathematical facts, famously giving the example of a triangle having anything other than three sides being impossible; if it did it would cease to be a triangle. Or did he? Wait, I'm not sure if this is true...
