Now that is an Inaugural Address! God willing, I'll live to see another statesman rise to our highest office and follow in the footsteps of this great man.

    God Bless You, President Reagan!

What an excellent speech. Somebody who actually believed in something! I can clearly tell from his words why he was friends with Margaret Thatcher. A perfect political match.

The next Ronald Reagan will either be Rand Paul or Marco Rubio. If one of them runs for President and the other for Vice President, it will most certainly be the biggest Republican landslide since 1980.

Great speech, words to live by.. but you still have to convince congress, not always easy.

He did cut government, but expanded the military. One of his greatest achievements was closing those mental health gulags, yet he has the stain of contra gate. He was not perfect. but who is.

The debt in his term was a result of the the arms build up during the Cold war so if you want to go blame somebody go blame Reagan's predecessors and the USSR. By the way Reagan never started the Cold war, but he was able to help end it without one shot being fired which is quite a feat to accomplish for just one man to do. The National debt at the time was also projected to be much higher instead thanks to his policies it was only 3 trillion in debt compared to over 6 trillion under Obama.

Reagan was one of the biggest scams to ever hit the White House. Please, look up his stats such as how he raised the debt and how often he raised taxed. Dimwits. If he ran today, the GOP wouldn't even give him a second look. He was everything the GOP isn't today.
