Brooklyn poet Lynn Chandhok reads "Confetti, Ticker-tape" from her book "The View From Zero Bridge". Along with Wislawa Szymborska's "Photograph from September 11", this is one of the most powerful poems about 9/11. Chandhok's recitation was specially recorded at the Park Slope Community Bookstore by The Brooklyn Optimist (a.k.a. Morgan Pehme) for his blog www.brooklynoptimist.com.
Ms. Chandhock we love you! (stefano's mother)

I wrote a poem too. It's called "Park Slope."
Park Slope
Yuppies with nannies and maids
$4,000 rent effortlessly paid
From where the cash comes no one knows
Yet by the hundreds more yuppies flow
Culture long since gone
Only shadows of NY dance on
