The only mention of Bruce Lee is that the narrator said Bruce Lee's death in her apt totally messed up her life and her brief reflection on it. People have threatened to kill her to avenge Bruce Lee's death and she said that she was glad that at least there was her religion to support and understand her in those times.
Other stuff is just about buddhism

One such incident of people threatening to kill her was that 2007 accident she had in Hong Kong where both back tires blew out and sent her careening into the guard rails. Police said, looks like someone's playing a trick on you. She refused to go to the hospital for treatment. That's street smarts.
