Hi Folks,

OK so i took out my electric guitar after a long time i didn't play and decided to jam and see how it comes out, everything is improvised including the songs on the background...i just picked whatever was on my playlist, tell me what you think...in the beginning i tried to do like a john lee hooker style, early blues and some kind of African guitar style thing, then i moved to some classic blues rock...I hope you don't treat me like when Dylan brought out he's electric
to Newport folk festival....just kidding' :P blues is a healer in all shapes and forms! :)

Best Wishes,
Jesse

  • NIce one Jesse...gosh!..a long video..but I know time just goes when youre playing and enjoying the feel and sounds of it...interesting hearing your approaches on the electric too. I think Strats lend themselves to just about anything -fingerpicking blues (as on acoustic) through to single string solo plectrum stuff. (You using a plectrum here? or just thumbnail?). Nice to jam along to Eric eh?-I used to like to have a go at 'Edge of Darkness' along with Eric'!!-Good stuff Jesse.

  • @ianmcgeachy Hi Ian, Thank you so much man!, yea its a long video and it was one hour long before i edited it :), I think this kind of jam is really like Therapy, after a long day you come home and you play the hell of that thing !, at start on the african early blues thing i do i use my fingers but when i jam along to the playback i use a pick, next one i do i'll put some good blues, that was just spontaneous songs i found because i was too lazy to find the good ones ;).

    Cheers,

    Jesse

  • Wow that was amazing! and i would never treat you like dylan, you sing way better lol. Every once in a while i take my Strat out and even put some fuzz on, i think it's therapeutic lol..Keep them coming!!!

  • @Bluesmanstrat1 Thank you so much man !, well I think bob dylan is not the best singer in the world to put it mildly BUT he has a style of singing that is special for him and you can hear a song of him and know that its Dylan :), I agree...Just put that thing on full blast and play away man its the best medication in the world ;)

    Cheers,

    Jesse

  • @Bluesmanstrat1 Thank you so much man ! :), It sure is Therapeutic, better then any drug or medication ;)

Very cool, i have a black mexi strat that I satinized the finish on, [steel wool] and the let nature take it's course as far as any damage or what-not.... I named it chai, the hebrew word for life. In fact there is a sticker on it with the word on it. It's rather battered, maybe someday I'll make a video of that too.
