  • I am Wondering what Kind of Horn the SPV's Use

  • how long did it take for conrail to bring the PennCentral tracks up to a useable state

  • SWEETNESS!!!

  • You got SPV's!!! Good for you!! After all they were known as "Seldom Powered Vehicles." Not too many videos out there of SPV's running on their own power. Great catch. I only rode SPV's once from Northeast to Dover Plains. The bulkhead door was duct-taped shut but those cars rode nice and hauled ass.

  • SPV's were the intended "Replacement" for the RDC - and this never really happened.

They had too any "Technical Issues". They later were Converted to Constitution Liners on SLE and now are retired. Too Bad!

  • When was the SPV footage taken? - since they are now retired.

  • WOW!

SPVs looks like at the Sperry Switch in Bethel.

Camp Cars in the CNE yard in POK!
