@JohnnyFriendly Thanks for the advice Johnny. My parrot tore chunks out of my vintage Tele when I left the room .I was going to shoot him (until he called me WANKER. You have to forgive him after that..) Does that make it worth some money ?
I will put my sweat on EBay now................

There's not a darn thing primitive about rockabilly guitar.

@andrewr62 You've obviously not heard enough Rockabilly...

@JohnnyFriendly We being that's mostly what I play I do something about it. Now the licks you are playing may be. Check out Brian Setzer. His licks are very sophisticated.
They are rockabilly based and quite involved and complex.

@andrewr62 I never said rockabilly could not be sophisticated. My point is, if you'd heard enough of this stuff, you'd realise there was plenty of rockabilly of a primitive nature
Do a search on youtube for a tune by Ralph Johnson called Henpecked Daddy to hear an example of what I'm talking about.

@JohnnyFriendly Well ,I guess its like the blues. The foundations are based on something simple ,but what you do with it is infinite.
PS I got one of those ,the Chet Akins model . Seriously nice guitar dude. I think I must sweat Guinness tho ,because the gold bits have tarnished pretty fast.

@ilikezappa just think though - some people pay the Gretsch custom shop $10k for that kind of "character".
you should think about leasing out your sweat glands. I think you'd be onto an earner there
