We had this single when I was a kid, would tease mother, her name was Adele with her friends nicknaming her "Dell," and everyone would sing to her, changing the line in the verse of "You Were Wrong" and rendering as "You were wrong, Dell..." and that would make mother mad as hell. My older sister states she saw the great Z. Z. Hill perform "You Were Wrong" on television when the song came out; whoever has that precious piece of footage: please post now! Also the flip, 'Tumble Weed" is great, too
