This is the complete opposite of the most well-known version, the version with Donna Summer on lead and Joe Esposito of the Brooklyn Dreams singing second lead and backup. That version went to #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1979.

On this version, which only appeared on the Brooklyn Dreams' 1979 album 'Sleepless Nights,' Esposito and his group sings lead and backup vocals while Donna Summer sings second lead.

Heard this version played back to back with the popular version on a local radio station about thirty years ago. I haven't heard it since and was beginning to question whether I ever actually did.
