  • Wash mixture of Egg, Mustard, and Hot Sauce and then bread in corn meal... How about a big bucket of seafood gumbo, okra and all...

  • @saintveil Thanks for your note. We have a seafood gumbo video and recipe. Go to our website and search seafood gumbo in the search box up top of the site. Or, go to our site url with /seafood-gumbo added to it.

  • I have enjoyed your videos, keep em coming :)

  • Thank you very much!

  • i usually just chop the head off clean it and fry it

  • Yep, that'll work too for eating catfish. We like to filet them for the sandwiches. Thanks for watching.

  • best po boy video I've seen.

  • Thanks so much ,, looks so yummy I am going to have to make me some this weekend!

  • The usual favorites in Louisiana for po-boys are roast beef and gravy, fried shrimp, hot sausage, fried oyster, fried catfish, fried softshell crab, hamburger, cheeseburger, pork chop, ham and cheese, veal cutlet, etc. The bread is what makes it a po-boy, if you don't have traditional New Orleans French bread, then it's just a sub. You can order the bread online I believe. Leidenheimers is the bread of choice here in New Orleans, but reislings makes it, Binders makes it too.

  • This is a note to everyone that views any channel on how to make a po-boy, the only thing that makes a po-boy different from any sub sandwich is the bread. Po-boys usually have lettuce tomato and pickle, which is standard on all po-boys in Louisiana, but the New Orleans French bread, is what makes it a po-boy. The bread has a special texture not found anywhere else, not even in France. New Orleans French bread is different from French bread from France.

  • Catfish FEE-LAY sandwich.
