What do you do when you're living 30 miles from the Louisiana Coast during Hurricane Ike, on your 7th tornado warning of the night, and scared crapless?

Actually a friend of mine was in Lafayette that lives in Houston during Ike and I think I remember him telling me something about some thunderstorms you had there, or did it ever rain there? Was it just really windy? Anyway I tell him everytime he goes back to Lafayette he always brings back a storm! He grew up in Lafayette went to Acadiana HS. He like goes to visit like every other weekend and then he goes to many LSU games! Geaux Tigers!

It rained some, but you're right. It was mostly just really, really windy. Scared me because we had tornado warning after tornado warning. LOL!

Yeah, LSU games are REALLY popular here.  We've only been here about two and a half years, and I'm not really into football. But, sure! Geaux tigers! LOL!

the effects in Lafayette were about like the effects of Gustav in Houston! just a puff of wind! You should have been in Houston during the hurricane. I live 30 miles from Galveston! it was totally intense for HOURS! Anyway this is funny! She must have really been bored, but maybe a little HIGH at the same time!
