No pain medication. 27-hour labor. Doula and midwife assisted.

Part 1 - Labor: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5aWxDXjtaxs
Part 2 - Delivery: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JSnC8a2xizQ

What does a new, natural mama think of her 27-hour labor and everything that followed? This video pretty much sums it up.

Bonus: A slideshow of our baby boy at the end!

  • Did you immunize your son? What is your opinion of all these immunizations? Do you think that they are linked to Autism?

  • @dyndor Stay tuned, mama. We are doing a whole series of vaccine videos in November!

  • Adorable baby! I had tears in my eyes when you held him for the first time :) All my memories came back to me and I also would do everything natural again. I had an easy labor, just like my mom. At 3:30 a.m. I checked at the hospital and at 6:00 my son was already with us. No drugs, no medical inteventions. I delivered with a midwife and my husband. Kajetan is also my first child. I'm so proud of myself and I finally feel like a 100% woman. Thank you for all your videos :)

  • This made me bawl :') You did such an amazing job. I had my heart set on a natural delivery, free of drugs, and unfortunately, I had an emergency c-section. My second child was a c-section as well. Even with the help of pitocin. I envy mothers who are able to deliver this way. Such a beautiful birthing story!

  • Just Beautiful!!! Well done mama!!

  • Aww that baby is too cute :) i wish my mom would have another one but my dad got this surgery so he cant make babies anymore

  • You gave birth two the most beautifulest child I have ever seen! 🚼

    I rate thumbs up👍💘

  • Cute Baby boy ;) Congrats

Do you know that the labour often is in the back when it's a boy, and in the stomach when it's a girl. I have 4 children, 3 girls and 1 boy.

    Thanks for sharing :)

  • ... (cont) I'm hoping to be able to go naturally with my 2nd, whenever the time comes. But I appreciate your honesty in your video. We all have our limitations. I still am upset that my limitations came prior to his birth, but 19 hours was a long time drug-free and I'm proud of that. Labor was 24 hours in total, so I didn't have much time with the epidural. Important thing was that he was happy and healthy. Love your videos! Thanks again for sharing :-)

  • I labored for 19 hours drug-free with my 1st. My water broke at home, only a couple of hours after my first contraction - it was an intense labor the whole way. After about 12 hours of home-labor, I made it to the midwife facility and labored in the tub. I lasted 7 hours at the midwife center before I stalled at 7cm and gave in to an epidural. I was upset with myself for not being able to stick it out for the natural labor I wanted, but I really liked what you said about "being human"... (cont.)

  • I am so glad you mentioned what you did about the Pitocin, the difference between what was effective for you versus how much hospitals give women. When my mother would discuss my birth she would mention 2 things--1.what a beautiful, early October day it was, warm, sunny and 2. How horrible it was getting the Pitocin and having the IV strabbed to her hand and her entire forearm taped to a padded board.

Women need to ask hard questions about Pit. So THANK YOU!

  • Im thinking about how those women on the old time doing this without any med......and thy use to have 5 and up kids amazing
