Original Sirene E57- Hochmast-Sirene - fire siren E57 in action

Elektro-mechanische Sirene Typ" E57" als Hochmast-Installation:

Angetrieben von einem 3-Phasen-Drehstrommotor 400 V, 50 Hz : Leistung des Motors: 5 kW
Ungefähre Drehzahl des Sirenen-Rotors bei Volllast: 2800 U/min

Genutzt allgemein als Feuerwehrsirene zur lauten Alarmierung der Feuerwehr bzw. als Zivilschutzsirene zur Warnung der Bevölkerung bei Großschadensereignisse (chemische, nukleare oder biologische Störfälle, Sturmflut,Überschwemmung, Unwetter)

Dies ist eine Hochmastsirene des Typs E57 aus meiner Wohngegend. Das Sirenensignal, welches man hört im Video ist der Feueralarm (1 minute Dauerton, welcher 2 mal unterbrochen ist!): Dieses Signal bewirkt, dass Feuerwehrleute im Falle von Bränden, Verkehrsunfälle zum Einsatz gerufen werden, um unter Umstände in Not geratene Menschen aus dieser Misere zu befreien. Feuerwehrsirenen sind bei gewissen Situationen rund um die Uhr im Einsatz, wenn nötig bei bestehender Gefahr für Menschenleben.

Generally purpose of this siren: for loud calling of fire-fighters in case of e.g. fire or traffic accidents and to warn the population in case of big disasters like chemical, nuclear or biological incidents, floods or storms.

Purpose of this siren:
This is siren mounted on a high-pylon and the type is called E57. Its location is in my homeland. The signal of siren, which can be heard in the video is the fire alarm: (1 minute steady tone, which is 2 times interrupted!): When this signal is active then the firefighters are called in case of e.g. traffic accidents or fires. Fire brigade sirens are in certain situations around the clock active if necessary in case of existing risk to human life.

Das blaue Gitter um den Stator sieht ja nett aus! Ist das Schutzdach oben etwas platt oder sieht das nur so aus?

das schutzdach sieht auch aus der ferne fast aus wie das einer DS977-Sirene, so nebenbei noch. :-)

jo, ist ne generalüberholte Feuerwehrsirene, deshalb das neue aussehen. diese sirene wurde vor paar monaten erst neu installiert, es wurde sogar darüber in der zeitung berichtet.

und sie ist für die laute alarmierung der "Freiwilligen Feuerwehr Raunheim/Kreis Groß-Gerau" zuständig. natürlich dient sie auch zur warnung der bevölkerung bei besonderen gefahren-situationen für diese. (probealarm findet 2mal statt im jahr!)

this was an very old WW2-siren. so this grille in this case was maybe rusty and it fell-down sometime ago.

but mostly the electro-mechanical sirens are equipped with such a grille.
