Uh yea. Waters did drugs. He took LSD a few times but once stepped into traffic and saif fuck this and then, according to him, never took them again.

Roger did massive amounts of drugs. What planet are you channeling. He has admitted that most of the late sixties stuff was "noodling". This opera is classic white guilt anti Western clap trap crap.

@nrocker3 listen to anything from Bach and you'll see the man was already playing prog rock
-
@drummerofdeath21 Ofcourse he did drugs, just not so much as Syd
-
BOOBS!!! :D
I know this comment doesn't have anything to do with music, the theater or opera... but bloody hell, BOOBS!!!

Roger waters is God, his ego is all consuming,, his talent consumes me, and when it kills me, i will die happy

Did RW really write this whole score? With no classical musical training?
-
yeah, an opera from Waters...it was going to happen eventally.
-
junkie?? he never did any drugs
Not only did he never do drugs, he also wrote most of the songs after Syd Barret left, and wrote all of the lyrics. Pink Floyd went way downhill after Waters left. Gilmour is great, but without Waters, Pink Floyd is just a band. Roger Waters may have had a big ego but he was justified for that. Such a brilliant poet, amazing songwriter, and groovy bassist.. deserves a big ego.
