This is a concept video, where Nick Knight, as the predecessor of vamps Henry Fitzroy and Mick St. John, is observing them as they struggle with their own existence on the "Dark Side of the Glass." The song, of course, is Dark Side of the Glass from the Forever Knight Soundtrack.

  • I get toronto has a strong goth culture but i think bon temps makes more sense because of the warmer nights.

  • @swastikausa

Well, both shows were, or are, in TB's case, trying to set up a different atmosphere, although TB still can set up the same "goth" vibe in the Fangtasia club stuff. I actually live pretty close to where they film a great many of the exterior swampy scenes for TB in Louisiana.

  • Very nicely done, indeed! I'm a little puzzled by the reference to "Blood Ties" though...

  • Well, the character from "Blood Ties," Henry Fitzroy, even though he is content to be a vampire, unlike Nick Knight and Mick St. John, still deals with feeling alienated, especially from his human love interest on the tv series. The theme of the song is alienation, being an outsider, and Henry still feels that, as that is one of the disadvantages of being a vamp.

  • In my opinion Mick is just a replica of nick.

  • @orgasmtron1 How far back you want to go here? Mick's a detective. So was Angel, So was Nick. Nick hated being a vampire, and got the aid of a female doctor to try and cure it. So did Barnabas Collins. How far back do you want to go when it comes to similarities? I can site examples all the way back to the first English vamp novel in 1820, if you want. So, spare me please. Been there, done that.

  • mick did not make a good vamp at all he never got the facial expression right wen doing the fang thing he looked more like a joke.

  • @Swampgirly so? Each has its own appeal. Most story lines whether vamp or human can be traced back to stories hundreds of years old.Its how they are played that makes them interesting. I just happen to like Moonlight but there are so many now you can, literally, pick and choose! Thank god for that-we can all be thrilled by our favorites.

  • I love these 3 shows, (Better than all the vampire shows today) especially Forever Knight. I used to watch this back in 1993 when I was 9yrs old LOL)

Im glad that people still remember him.

Moonlight and Blood Ties were great as well. Hopefully Moonlight movie will push through. I really miss Mick. Thank God for Three Rivers.

Little Trivia: Vicki from BloodTies appeared in Forever Knight as Joan of Arc (Season 1), and as police patrol in Season 2 - Close Call.

  • Great job! Awesome concept! Great way of tying all three shows together.
