Firstly, the native americans are not "a nation", they are many different nations which have been all but destroyed as political entities. Despite the utter injustice of hat happened to them, they do have their own land and laws. If they want to secede, I and many other americans would have no problem with it. The big difference is that they weren't protesting, Tibetans were. Why? Ask yourself.

If the Native Amereican Indian tribes at Grand Ronde Oregon drecided to cause a ruckus and call for all Native Americans To be involved in a struggle for national liberation Bush would have the National Guard there in a heartbeat.
The Native Americans are a nation of over 6 million people who have relatively little in common with Washington culturally but have been occupied by White men for 250 years and ruled from Washington in everything but name.
