Happy X-mas & Give Peace a Chance by John Lennon and Yoko Ono.

This video would not have been made possible if it weren't for the brave journalists with the courage to speak out against the atrocities caused by our recent wars. This new year should mark the beginning of some of the largest movements the world shall ever organize in the name of peace. We all know the horrors of war but none is more terrifying than if we continue to remain silent. Now is the time to unite! Look to your local peace activist organization and help to bring big changes to the world. We can make this real and we can bring peace to the innocent victims and their mourning families once and for all! Power to the people!

  • And for tonight I will leave it at that. You are dangerously asking the force that protects the world to lay down its arms, letting evil aggression run free. Wouldn't it make more sense to convince the evil aggressors to lay down their arms? I would join you in a peace rally in front of these corrupt aggressors, but since i know it wont work i would rather take a gun than a wind chime.

  • @StalinAndFriends1 I don't support any hostile force even if it offers me protection. How could I ever justify a country's reckless use of power to invade and destroy another country just for the illusion of "protection." Go around your home country and ask what it is that Americans want, and they will tell you, PEACE. No one wants wars, yet, the US has invaded two countries in the past decade with no end in sight.

  • So ironically your holding your peace rally in the wrong country! Go to Osama Bin Laden and hold your peace rally out front of his cave, and see what he does. When you guys get mowed down by a machine gun don't come crying to me.

brave journalists with the courage to speak out against the atrocities caused by our recent wars? The brave ones are our soldiers who go over seas to fight the Evil that faces our modern world like terrorism!

  • @StalinAndFriends1 Evil? Look at what happened in East Timor. Indonesia genocide natives of that land and the US sponsored it 90%. How about the raids in Cambodia where millions suffered death, disease, and starvation? The US commits atrocities all over the world but it is never publicized in the media. Why? Well you may think the media is liberal but such a system has been designed for you to think that. The term liberal in the media is nowhere near close to what it is in the rest of the world.

  • @underthebox When Good doesn't fight, evil runs free. Which is more Peaceful: A good world that occasionally uses violence to defend that good against evil, or the world ruled completely and totally by evil?

You still have not answered my question, simple yes or no: Would you have used force to defend against Nazi Germany in World War 2?

  • @underthebox I want Peace too, and I'm willing to fight to eliminate the evil that threatens it. When Good doesn't fight, evil wins. If we did not invade Afghanistan, or even fought Al Queda after 9/11, we would be much more prone to terrorist attack. over there we can attempt to eliminate them without threatening our citizens. Sure if we don't attack for the sake of nonviolence we'll feel peaceful, but the rise of terrorist attacks wouldn't be peaceful. They wish to kill every American

  • oops accidentally replied to myself there

  • @StalinAndFriends1 Humans aren't perfect, and we are not all basically good. I do not think we are all basically evil either, we all start out in the middle. Because of Human Error, evil will always exist. The only way we can have true peace is with Divine Intervention. Evil threatens Peace, and if Evil is allowed to run free for the sake of nonviolence then we will never come even close to peace. We can come closest to peace when evil doesn't rule, and unfortunately sometimes it requires force

  • @underthebox Sometimes you have to fight those who who don't want Peace to preserve it. So you would have allowed all of Europe and probably America after that to fall to Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan and essentially bring the polar opposite of peace, a world ruled by evil, for the sake of nonviolence? Sure you have had good intentions, but the results would have been horrific. Intentions don't matter, results do. I keep using World War 2 because it is the perfect example of why we fight.

  • The point is you must know that the U.S. is better than those places, because you know that if you go to those places you wouldn't stand a chance and would probably be killed. Can you really deny that the U.S. is the one protecting against these evil aggressions? Your asking the wrong person to disarm. Its like asking a police officer to lay down his gun when he has a murderer in his sites. Whether or not you believe the US is a force of good, you can't deny its not the greatest force of evil

  • I once again say that you are holding your Peace Rally in the wrong country. if you can convince every force for evil in the world to lay down their arms then there is no need for the US Military. Don't make the force that is protecting against the spread of evil put down its arms, do you truly think that the U.S. is a greater force for evil than Al Queada, terrorists in general, North Korea, Russia, China, the African warlords, etc.?

  • No country is perfect, and people make mistakes. The truth is when you do your math and count up and weigh all the positive things the U.S. Military has done it completely outweighs the negatives. Calling the U.S. a force of wrong is absurd when the clear majority of what it does is good. You would have trouble protecting the entire world while trying not to make mistakes too. What do you think would happen if the US Military disappeared from the earth tomorrow? Please answer
