Vasil Mihov aka Toppy returns to Mistique Music this week for a new single. The Bulgarian producer first appeared on Michael & Levan and Stiven Rivic's top imprint back in September of 2010 with his 4 track 'Own Mind' EP.

Since Toppy has had two more appearances on Mistique and several other top outings on BQ, frisky and LuPS. Toppy's new single for Mistique is out this week and it's entitled 'Significant' and it comes with remixes form: MSZ, Arctic Night and Stansiha.

Toppy's original mix gets underway with a dry percussive groove that's accented with some aquatic sounding electronics and wonderful sweeps. The track is an amazing slow builder with tension filled chords and loads of trippy sounds weaving their way in and out of the mix. The grainy sounding lead chords amplify in intensity towards the break and as the framework drops out a monster epic moment occurs as the big sustained lead get a chance to breathe. This should see a big hands in the air moment when dropped at the right time. Really intelligent sounding stuff from Toppy. Toronto's MSZ would now have to be considered one of the top progressive house producers in Canada, his productions grow leaps and bounds with each successive outing and he's really turned in a monster remix on 'Significant'. The track has a huge presence right out of the gate with big prominent claps and wicked squelchy synths. The whole piece is surrounded by a continuously evolving atmosphere and the just seems to get bigger and bigger as it progresses. The sombre chords are very futuristic and give the piece an understated almost restrained feel which works in perfect contrast to the big room feel that it has. Marvellous work from MSZ. Arctic Night takes some time out from running his excellent Elliptical Recordings imprint and provides the next 'Significant' interpretation. It's a cool hypnotic vibe that Arctic Night has captured here with heavy effects and trippy panning hits. The package is closed out by Stanisha who has in our opinion delivered one of his cooler productions recently. The groove is very club friendly but still stripped, modern and unique which is somewhat rare. There is a wealth of really fresh, psychedelic sounds and a lovely set of hypnotic bells that floats over everything perfectly. And the production is spectacular, really crisp with a lot of pop! Outstanding stuff from Stanisha and a superb package from Mistique!
