@topcat42 If you're going to get hung up on grammar (I am sorry to have to sink to this level of pettiness - you shot first) you should check your last post. You don't know when to put a comma and when to put a full stop and your last sentence does not even have a subject.

From my perspective, you are misguided and wrong on many levels. Therein lies the conundrum - "perspective". We, conservatives, will never be able to change your mindset. Just as you, liberal progressives, will never be able to change ours. So let's concede to you that you are correct in that Fox News is a conservative spin machine. You must be one of the very few well informed and enlightened crowd as you are proudly anti-Fox News. Good for you and good luck with that.

Glenn Beck isn't being used as an authority on truth telling -- in this case the video evidence is being used as an authority on truth telling. Secondly, the MSNBC host specifically brought race into the conversation by stating that a "WHITE" person showed up armed at an Obama rally. The Fox video clip showed that, in fact, it was a black person. No one, of which I am aware, is assuming anything. The guy's political affiliation or ideology is irrelevant.
