Goodwill Industries has an 80-year history as an auto supplier through its relationships with Ford, General Motors, and Chrysler. Goodwill's Industrial Operations Division has proven to be a cost-effective solution for OEMs and the agency is always interested in discovering and developing new partnerships. Goodwill is trained, trusted and ready to work, for its partners and for the people of Southeast Michigan.
Your audience might be interested to know Goodwill's Industrial Operations Division provides paid work experience for individuals with disabilities or other special needs. Revenues from the division's activities support Goodwill Industries' efforts to help individuals with barriers to employment join or rejoin the workforce through job training, education and other career services programs. Approximately 700 businesses currently employ individuals who received training through the programs.
Goodwill Industries is ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:2004 certified and provides light assembly, packaging, cabling and kitting services. Some of the activities the agency is equipped to handle include cable and harness assembly, automated bagging, heat sealing, product packaging, sorting, inspecting and salvaging.
Goodwill Industries employ physically and/or mentally challenged/disabled people in an effort to make their company appear compassionate toward the public and those who face the aforementioned challenges on a daily and/or life-long basis. In essence, I am quite secure in the opinion that the management of "GoodWill" Industries abuse their position and/or authority in an effort to harass and belittle these employees. DO NOT DONATE, WORK FOR, OR IN ANY WAY- CONTRIBUTE TO ANY GOODWILL ..
