Marvelous!! Too bad they edited the ending, where the entire dance troupe roller-skates in parade formation like lemmings through the stage exit, which becomes a time-portal to the future. On the other side, in the year 2015, they are confronted with a reality they couldn't imagine; war, hyperinflation and poverty in a marxist police state controlled by international bankers. Utopias can be dangerous.

@TheGregEgg Uh Greg mate I suspect you aren't serious but if you are can I suggest you look at it again. Robert Stigwood did produce the worst movie of all time but this wasn't it, that was Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band. This movie had no narrative and the acting was atrocious along with the direction but its like a car crash. There is a kind of morbid fascination with it because of the way it encapsulates the era so exceptionally well. Gene Kelly on roller skates? Gold!
