Newt Gingrich lays into Sarah Palin and Rudy Giuliani in Matthew Vadum's new book "Subversion Inc.: How Obama's ACORN Red Shirts are Still Terrorizing and Ripping Off American Taxpayers" (WND Books).

Laura Ingraham discussed Vadum's book on the "O'Reilly Factor" on June 23, 2011. Gingrich criticized Palin and Giuliani for mocking Barack Obama's community organizing because, in his words, it "trivialized" Obama who is not a trivial person. In Gingrich's view, Palin and Giuliani should have warned Americans about how dangerous and radical Obama was.

The radical un-American group Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) is very much alive despite reports of its demise. It is restructuring in time to help re-elect President Obama in 2012. Obama used to work for ACORN and represented the group in court as its lawyer.

  • Gingrich is right. Somebody should have done their homework and educated the public about what "community organizing" really is. Organized thuggery and extortion. A major contributing factor to the subprime housing mess. On full display in the "Occupy" gangs of spoiled slackers, standing ready to wreak destruction on America.

  • Newt may be correct on some issues - but he is also a huge, arrogant prick and that's a lot against his presidential bid.

  • I don't particularly like Gingrich, but in this case, he is correct.
