Alexander Ovechkin's crazy goal

This is so far the best goal scored in the NHL's 2005-2006 season. It was scored by the Rookie superstar from Russia, Alexander Ovechkin.

That goal is amazing and all, but when you think about it, what the Fu** was that goalie doing seriously.

I'm not a goalie, but I'm assuming he first stepped out to cut down the angles in case Ovie shot it...and since Ovie was coming from the right the goalie thought the defenseman was going to keep Ovechkin to his right, and when Ovie was able to go around to the left, the goalie was too slow and too stretched out to slide over to the other side, so he simply tried to protect the ice level with his stick but was too far out to get the entire ice which thus produced an amazing goal!
