This video shows the difference that acoustic treatment can make to your studio. This is by no means a hi-tech acoustic test but it does show what a little DIY and some acoustic insulation can do to an ordinary room.

What's the size of this mixing room? Did you made an specific measuring about the frequencies do you wanna attenuate or just doing these basstraps solve your acustic problems? Very good stuff you made! congrats!!!

@DJPaggos What I did is I took an old mattress and cutted it up for isolation panels, helps a lot and in this way you don't need to spend $500.

@PretensionMusic my 250 went towards some alesis m1 active MK II's but when im older and have a stable job, ill consider this.

@DJPaggos Do it. $500 spent on acoustic treatment is much more beneficial than spending an extra $500 on monitors or gear if you ask me. It's amazing.
