OH please, Emma Shapplin can barely sing, let alone show emotion. Petibon is blessed with a great voice and her technique is fantastic, not to talk about knowing her pieces thoroughly and possessing natural and creative musical talent and flair.

Violino? io proprio non capisco l'entusiasmo per questa sorta di zanzarina presuntuosa e spesso volgare. Qualità di voce men che modesta per volume e timbro, agilità niente di che, centri vuoti, piani oscillanti e a volte inudibili, il trillo, di qualunque specie, non esiste, gli acuti sono ingolati e per sovrappiù, tanto per fare "l'interprete", talvolta forza l'accento come una cantante verista, in un modo che già è volgare di suo, ma che per Mozart è un abbominio.
