  • Bill is right about religion, but it's not quite fair to characterize it as a "neurological disorder." Many sane people are under the influence of what they've been taught and/or raised to believe. I do think it's a problem to raise children with these ideas, because they are hard things to get rid of in adulthood, but religion just causes confusion which is difficult to sort out. It's not a "mental illness," because the brain isn't malfunctioning, just running on the wrong information.

  • "91 percent of those on the no fly list can pass background checks and get guns" hmm, so i guess if you are on the no fly list it means you are obviously a proven criminal and that the no fly list is infallible and that the whole thing is not simply just a fraud that gives DHS yet another excuse to skirt due process and the constitution.

  • @gorcrow That has nothing to do with Fascism. Fascism is a political philosophy built entirely around ultra-nationalism.

Everywhere except America where it means the same as active government.

  • @holmlllll Religion is pretty far fetched, but a fat guy riding around the world in a deer led sleigh in one night delivering presents (down chimneys at that) to every deserving child is pretty fukkn ridiculous. Jus sayn

  • "God bless America, and no place else!!"

  • @Blexine lol .. i totally agree

  • @holmlllll That's a great question. There are two reasons: One, parents don't ingrain "Santa Claus" into their children with the same seriousness. Most Christian parents treat the idea of "God" (for example) with a very stern reverence that children internalize far more deeply, because of the understanding that God is an authority figure who will actually punish (not just withhold toys) for bad behavior.

Two, because kids grow up in religious communities that reinforce "God" long after age 4.

  • @instereovideos most children find out Santa clause isn't real on their own, so how come they cant shake religion too, which is more absurd

  • @gorcrow

    Fascism...?

  • @instereovideos Excellent analogy. Religion is the biological version of malware.

  • @gorcrow that doesnt make me a fascist

  • @gorcrow im agnostic and definitely not liberal. You see, i have my own opinions and i dont follow what a party tells me to follow. And there are plenty of restrictions from the government. No stealing, no murder, weed, all other drugs illegally classified (im against weed btw) but you wouldnt call out the government on those things? and it still does not change the fact that the way constitution has been set up so revisions are able to be put in place. i believe we need a revision.
