http://www.contextures.com/excelwaterfallchart.html Create a waterfall chart in Excel to show the cumulative effect of positive and negative amounts, based on a starting value.
For example, show the monthly net cash flow amounts in a waterfall chart, and quickly see which months had positive and negative results.

  • If it can be of any help, and save some people a little time, the company I'm working with has just developped a website allowing to create a waterfall-chart online for free. You enter your data, and then receive the waterfall chart in an excel file. The address: waterfall-chart dot c o m

  • thanks a lot, this was very informative indeed

  • @najfario Umm no... this IS an example of a waterfall chart. The title of the video is not "how to create a cash flow waterfall structure", she just happens to be using cash flow as an example.

  • Very good!

  • ehhh....this is not a waterfall structure. Cashflow waterfall in excel refers to to a way that profits are distributed. What you are doing is creating a chart of said values (called net cash flow here). Newbies take note!
