Marissa Mayer, Vice President, Search Products & User Experience, leads the product management efforts on Google's search products -- web search, images, groups, news, Froogle, the Google Toolbar, Google Desktop, Google Labs, and more. After watching this, I have a new respect for Mayer's real intellectual chops. She's been unfairly dragged through the "tech media" mud as some blond bimbo, but clearly she's smarter than 99% of the 'bloggers' out there hating on her (half of which use Adsense as their business model to begin with). Excellent video. I like Google's push toward more transparency of how they work, rather than trying to hide the backend operations from spammers.

She is so extraordinary good. Watching this fluent talk was a breeze. I am tired of all this techies who ruin an interesting talk with their lack of presentation skill (albeit I would define my self as a techy to a great degree). Reading her biography I am even more impressed. Such a great academic background, too! Thank you -- watching this wasn't a miserable failure :)
