The band plays music from all eras from 60 to the current top 40 hits.
The band was formed in December 2005 in Terrigal, NSW. Before the formation of this band its musicians Budi and Cha had been playing music for 17 years and have played for audiences at major Hotels, Restaurants, Pubs and International events in Bali.
The duo performs their songs using guitar and a range of percussion instruments to create the unique sound of Kuta Groove. Budi with his magic on the drums & Cha with his funky guitar rhythms have impressed many audiences.
A very busy work schedule meant that Cha could not always play with Budi. In December 2007 Yaved, a talented guitar player and singer joined the band. Yaveds music selection and skills to entertain, make the bands music genre wider and more groovy. His ability to read the audience can create the mood of the moment whether it needs to be soft and romantic or a cutting-edge party fiesta! Kuta Grooves innovative music, evokes vibrant passion and dynamic rhythms of soulful music.
Kuta Grooves recent experience has been playing at Buddha Bar, Dekk Bar,Beer Garden-Crowne Plaza Terrigal, Sirens The Island Bar all located in Terrigal as well as Kantara House, Kincumber and Tuggerah Lakes Golf Club, Norah Head Bowling Club, Magenta Shore, Avoca Surf Club, Towoon Bay Surf Club, Platinum Blu Restaurant,Umina Surf Club, Erina Rugby League Football Club, Terrigal Trojan Football Club, The Grace Hotel Sydney, Tumbalong Park Darling Harbour - Sydney, Canterbury League Club - Sydney, Auburn RSL - Sydney.
