America is a place defined and redefined over and over again by the polemics of good and bad, hope and despair, inspiration and cynicism. It's a place of limitless possibility, where even the most mediocre citizens have the ability to garner fame, fortune, and respect. Lately, for those bent on achieving these things on the most grand of scales, shame and humility are put on the backburner in an ever growing scramble for control of the limelight.

Inspired by the title sequence of HBO's hit series, "How To Make It In America," here's a look at some of the true swine doing an exemplary job of making it in America, via the most cynical manipulation of the system, and the gullibility of the body public.
